Hello Church Family, I am Christine Fallon. I am married to Zach, your pastor at Christ Church. We have been blessed with four children; Kade, Owen, Vienna, and Ames and have been married 12 years! I am a trained educator and private violin teacher and have lived in GA for 1 year now! I am happy and privileged to share my testimony of what Christ has done and is doing in my life.
To really see how much Jesus means to me, I have to take you back a few years before I was born. My parents, Pete and Lori Wetendorf, were introduced to Jesus during high school and over the next few years He completely changed their trajectory in life. As the first Christians in their own families, it was a very bold and outrageous announcement that they would be leaving the Chicagoland area to become missionaries in small remote towns in the western United States with Village Missions. I was their third child born in a small town of 1,000 people in Montana where my parents served faithfully, often as the only gospel witnesses.
My childhood was very happy and carefree, as I was taught the truths of the Bible and the freedom and security found in Christ. I knew my need for a Savior as young as I can remember. My parents truly exemplified how a life surrendered to Christ brings forgiveness, joy,, and purpose. Even as a six-year old I knew that trusting in Christ was necessary to rid myself of sin and that following Him would change my future. I thank God for revealing to me early in life that following Christ and his ways is what I was made for. I consider it a gift of His grace that I was drawn to Jesus and following Him, even when it came at a cost. As a teenager, I knew that I wanted to serve Christ with the one life I was given.
Through the ups and downs of growing up and becoming an adult, getting married, and having a family, I am more aware of the sin inside me and more aware of how necessary Jesus is for me. I am still learning to trust in the finished work of Christ and how that impacts my daily life. Will you pray with me that I would believe more fully the good news of Jesus and that His life for mine will transform how I think of myself and others? Pray that my mind would be filled with heavenly things and not fixed only on what my eyes can see. You can also pray for me as I serve in this new role as the wife of the pastor. Pray that I would build up my husband and that our home would be a sanctuary for him, our family, and others who enter it. I love you, Christ Church, and feel so privileged to learn All of Life in Light of the Gospel alongside you.
