1. The Righteousness We Cannot Establish (10:5)
- The law says “do”
- We cannot establish our own righteousness
- There is nothing left for us to establish
2. The Salvation We Cannot Reach Has Come Near (10:6–8)
- You do not bring Christ down. He came
- You do not bring Christ up. God raised Him
- The word is near
- To believe is to receive the Christ who has come near
3. The Word Near You Calls for Faith (10:9–10)
- The heart believes that God raised Jesus from the dead
- The mouth confesses that Jesus is Lord
- One faith, inside and out
- Stop inspecting the hand. Look at Christ
4. The Lord Rich Enough for All (10:11–13)
- Everyone who believes will not be put to shame
- There is no distinction. The same Lord is Lord of all
- The Lord is rich toward all who call on Him
- Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved
